Differential temperature control for multiple fans.
These control cabinets save the customer’s electrician having to design and build a bespoke system for either Crop Cool Wired or Wireless when multiple fans need to be controlled.
Enclosure with 32 amp supply socket ready to plug directly into farmer's 3ph supply. Facility to plug in 4 fans via 16amp panel mounted sockets. Hub will switch fans on when RUN signal is received from Crop Cool controller. Hub contains all necessary protection for motors, contactors and conductors .
The big benefit of all three of these systems is that they provide a low-cost option for automation. Fans are only running when the conditions for cooling are optimal. In a conventional situation, fans will often be switched on as a matter of course in the evening and switched off in the morning regardless. This takes no account of ambient air temperatures and the fact that air blown through the heap may actually increase grain temperatures if above the required differential. Aside from unnecessary energy usage, this can also put crop quality at risk with higher crop temperatures increasing insect pest activity.
