These 1.0mm to 2.5mm adhesive lined solder sleeves provide a watertight and corrosion resistant seal without the need for crimping tools. The low temp pre fluxed solder ring delivers superior connectivity between wires whilst providing excellent pull out resistance. The translucent sleeve allows visual inspection of the connection ensures a secure professional finish.
To use them strip your wires approximately 3/8. Slide over the connector and intermingle the wire strands. Centre the soldering ring over the twisted wire strands and then using a heat gun or torch heat the connector evenly from the centre outwards. Once the solder has turned a bright silver remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Top tip: Dip your wires in flux prior to heating. Although not necessary it can help provide an even better solder flow and ensure a fully reliable join.
