Sweet Home Hinton Ampner - the tenant farmer's diary from 2015.
Charlie and Hazel Flindt farm 920 acres of heavy land on the National Trust-owned estate at Hinton Ampner, in central Hampshire. They run a conventional farm - it's not organic, it doesn't have rare breeds, and they use all the modern chemical and mechanical tools of the trade to try and make a living out of farming. In late 2014, it dawned on Charlie that no-one has kept a decent record of the goings-on of just such a farm. So in 2015, he did. Somehow, the daily recordings spread from just farming and weather and rural crime to daily life away from the tractor: playing in a fifth-rate covers band, medical matters (he's getting old, you know), and adjourning to the Flowerpots pub in Cheriton on most Tuesdays with his neighbour, where they say most of the things thay said the week before, but they can't remember after four pints of Perridge ale.
Join him and his long-suffering family as they journey through 2015.
